Hello, welcome to my Folio! My name is Jennifer Joanna Bilby. I live in Austin, Texas, but was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am currently a Senior at Akins High School as part of the Social Services Academy. I am also a member of the Ready Set Teach program and class of 2015.

I am a student in Mr. Doerr's Commercial Photography class and took his Photojournalism class as a sophmore. I typically take photos as a hobby and for fun but hope to go further with it in college and minor in photography.

Photography interests me because I see it as a form of art and a way to tell a story from a different perspective. I find Portraits, Macro Photography, and Long Exposure Photography to be quite interesting. They are also my favorite to photograph in my free time.

My goals for the future are to attend Texas State University, major in Biomedical Sciences and minor in Photography, while also getting my Teaching Certification. I also look forward to advancing in my photography career and improving my skills in photography as a whole.
